Cookie Policy
Last updated 25 August 2026
The short version
This website sets no cookies and loads nothing from anyone else. No analytics, no advertising, no social pixels, no session recording. Cookies only appear once you sign in to ConneX, and they exist to keep you signed in.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files a site asks your browser to store and send back on later visits. ConneX is operated by NexCell Solutions Ltd, and this policy covers this website, the ConneX app, and the landlord and tenant portals.
2. Cookies we set once you sign in
These are strictly necessary: without them we cannot tell one signed-in person from another, so the service simply does not work. They are set only after you sign in, and they are cleared when you sign out.
- access_tokenKeeps you signed in. Encrypted before it is stored, and readable only by the server.Lasts 30 minutes
- refresh_tokenRenews your session so you are not signed out mid-task. Encrypted, server-only.Lasts 30 days
- is_logged_inLets the page know to show your account rather than the sign-in screen. Holds no personal data.Lasts 30 days
- is_super_adminRoutes platform administrators to the admin console. Set only for those accounts.Lasts 30 days
- portal_tokenSigns landlords and tenants in to their portal. Encrypted, server-only.Lasts Up to 7 days
- oauth_sessionCarries your details through a Google sign-in and is cleared once it completes.Lasts 60 seconds
- sb-*Set by Supabase, our database and authentication provider, to hold the same signed-in session.Lasts Session
3. A cookie that remembers a choice you made
One cookie stores a layout preference, and only after you set it yourself. It holds nothing that identifies you.
- sidebar:stateRemembers whether you collapsed the navigation sidebar, so it stays how you left it.Lasts 7 days
4. Cookies we do not set
We run no analytics or measurement tools, no advertising or retargeting tags, and no third-party embeds that could set cookies of their own. If that ever changes, we will ask for your consent before setting anything non-essential, and this page will be updated first.
5. Why there is no accept or reject banner
Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, cookies that are strictly necessary to deliver a service you asked for do not require consent, only clear information, which is what this page is for. Everything listed above falls into that category, so a banner offering to reject them would imply a choice that does not exist.
6. Managing cookies
Signing out clears your session cookies. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time, though blocking the ones above will stop you being able to stay signed in to ConneX.
7. Your rights
How we handle personal data, and the rights you have over it under UK GDPR, are set out in our Privacy Policy. You can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk if you think we have got something wrong.
